answer questions. All are welcome. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend to: tgee.ecrtransition@gmail.com, or call MaryBeth at 831-394-4465

June 1st is the election convention at St. Andrew’s Saratoga.

This people doing the electing are clergy and parish delegates. Our Good Shepherd delegates are:
Steve Pearson, Dottie Fuller, Dick Smith, Peggy Mayfield, with Michele Waite as an alternate. Our clergy are The Rev. Linda McConnell, Rector and The Rev. Cynthia Montague, Deacon.

Election of a bishop is not a popularity or political vote. It is about discernment - which is a spiritual art and requires humble prayer. Prayers for this election have been
ongoing in each parish for the past many months, and we trust that delegates and clergy have a spiritually listening heart. For more on the practice of discernment, see the article below.

We would love to hear about your impressions and thoughts on the candidates prior to the June 1st election. There will be a gathering on Sunday, May 26 after the 10 a.m. service in the parish library for your feedback.
