The Rev. Linda McConnell, Rector
Pastor Linda is passionate about Jesus, church, family, resilience, and creativity. Her divinity graduate studies at Pacific School of Religion and Church Divinity School of the Pacific taught her that academics are good and practice is even better. She practices Centering Prayer, walking with her dog, Zami, caring for her grandchildren, Alma and Winston, and eating really good food with friends. She loves the orthodox classics, St. John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, the desert fathers and mothers, as well as more modern classics, Oswald Chamber’s My Utmost for His Highest, C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity, and truly modern authors such as Glennon Cannon Doyle, Cynthia Bourgeault. Thomas Keating, David Lose, among others. When she is not at church, she’s probably hiking, gardening or writing. Her sermons are on our website.
Eric Rowe, Music Director
Eric Rowe has been always been involved in music from a very young age. A multi-instrumentalist by heart, Eric leads the Choir and the Folk group on Sundays, playing Piano, Mandolin, drums, and anything else that suits his fancy. When not at church, you can catch him playing Synth-pop and touring with his partner Lillie Lemon:(www.LillieLemon.com)
Nicole Oertel, Youth & Families Director
Nicole Oertel knows her stuff! As our leader of Children and Youth Ministries, you will find her highly engaged on Sundays and during the week: hosting preschool parent playdates and parent brunches, connecting with our surrounding schools (Washington Union, Toro Elementary, Spreckels, San Benancio Middle School), and arranging great service projects for teens. Sunday activities are highly engaging (outdoor art, games that teach values) and scripturally based.
Nina Paganetti, Preschool Director
Nina Paganetti is warm, energetic, and organized. Her Masters in Early Childhood Education Administration combines with her deep heart for children and families to make for a perfect combination of insight, vision, and caring.
