Eve’s Peak

High atop Eve’s Peak, surrounded by rolling hills and open sky, stands a simple stone-and-wood altar that invites us to worship in the beauty of creation. Built into the natural landscape, this sacred space holds the wooden altar between two great stones, a quiet witness to the One who is our Rock and our Redeemer.

Each Easter, as the first light breaks over the hills, our congregation gathers here for sunrise worship. In the hush before dawn, with birdsong and the soft light of resurrection morning, we proclaim that Christ is risen — not only in the past, but here and now, in this very place. The open sky becomes our cathedral, the hills our congregation, and the rising sun a living sign of hope.

This outdoor sanctuary is more than a beautiful setting. It is a place where heaven and earth feel especially close, where the ancient story of new life meets the present moment in a profound and personal way. Whether you come for the Easter sunrise service or simply to sit in silence and prayer, Eve’s Peak offers a holy invitation: to lift your eyes to the hills, and remember from where your help comes.
