At the Church of the Good Shepherd, we gather on Sundays with joy and the hopeful expectation of receiving blessing from the God who loves us and longs to be in relationship with us. You are wanted and welcomed here exactly as you are — no pretense, no need to perform, and no requirement to have it all figured out. Whether you are brand new to church or have worshiped this way for many years, there is a place for you at God’s table.
Our worship follows the ancient and beautiful patterns of the Christian church, drawn primarily from the Book of Common Prayer. These time-honored rhythms of praise, confession, Scripture, prayer, and sacrament have nourished God’s people for centuries. At the same time, our preaching and music are alive and relevant, offered with the hope of meeting you personally in your real life and helping the ancient story speak to where you are today.
Our Worship
What to Expect
on Sunday Mornings
Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. and is followed by Coffee Hour, a relaxed time of fellowship with coffee, refreshments, and friendly conversation.
Children are an important part of our community. We offer Nursery care on most Sundays throughout the year. Sunday School for children runs from September through May and takes a recess during the summer months.
Holy Communion is offered on most Sundays. All baptized Christians are warmly invited to receive.
At the heart of our Sunday worship is a desire to honor the rich traditions of the Episcopal Church while being a genuinely inclusive community — where people of all ages, backgrounds, and life experiences are not only accepted but truly belong.
